Awning/Hopper Windows

Awning
Awning windows are an ideal choice if you are looking for traditional styling. Awning windows provide your home with elegant beauty, excellent thermal efficiency and incomparable functionality. Awning windows open outward from the bottom. They are hinged towards the top using a crank handle and the operating mechanism keeps the sash securely open. Awning windows open from the bottom to provide effective ventilation without letting the elements into your home. Patented Chain Winders hold the windows in place and prevent slamming in gusty weather

These windows are very convenient as they can be stacked with other fixed or movable windows in different configurations. Simplicity and clean design define the Awning Window.

Hopper Window
Hopper windows are known to be very energy efficient, as well they are attractive, innovative and durable. Hopper windows are similar to casement windows and awning windows in that they tilt open. These three types of windows are opened by means of hinges rather than sliding or lifting.

Hopper windows are hinged at the bottom and open inward. Hopper windows are very energy efficient because their sashes close by pressing against the frame. Screens are placed on the exterior of the window unit. Hopper windows are also similar to casements as the entire window area can be completely opened, while sliding windows are limited to less than half of the window area.
